I just wanted to let you all know that the Canucks KICKED BUTT last night against Detroit, 3-1 baby!! I'm pretty sure my husband has finally worn me down...I have become a die hard Canucks fan. Not that I wasn't a Canucks fan before, I've cheared for them ever since I was a little kid. But now its like I've become, for a lack of better words, OBSESSED!!!Roberto Luongo is pretty much my hero, and arguably the best goalie in the NHL! And I quote from the Canucks website,
"The other story was narrated by Roberto Luongo, who stopped 27 of the Red Wings’ 28 shots. The big netminder made the save — correction, the play — of the game in the dying minutes of the first period, snatching Henrik Zetterberg’s sure-goal out of mid-air during a dangerous Red Wings power play."
Can't wait for more games this season! Luongo is gonna kick all of your butts! Go Canucks Go!
