The Surprise Visit Video

Sorry that you can't see Mom very well as its really dark, but you get the screaming and the freaking out!!!
I LOVE surprises!

New Hair Cut, Surprise Visits, Canucks and Giant Bruises!

Hey Everybody! I know its been SUCH a long time since I've written in here and posted pictures of whats going on in our lives. The title pretty much lets ya know we've been SUPER busy with a million things. In the last month we've been away 3 weekends out of the four, so we haven't had much down time. We hit up the Spa in Moose Jaw at the beginning of February with my work. Tom, my boss took all of us front staff to the spa to enjoy some relaxation. It was great, and I got to take Stephen along so we had a bit of time to ourselves.

The weekend after, we drove to Kelowna on a last minute decision to surprise my parents! Steve Pain, a friend and youth leader of ours was driving out to Vancouver to go to a conference for his work and was going to drive straight through Kelowna!! So he asked us if we wanted to hitch a ride. So we made the long trek to spend a few days with Mom, Dad and Jordan. It was a blast and well worth seeing my Mom's face as I was standing in her doorway! Priceless.
They put me right to work on their house for the few days I was there! As the pictures document, I helped grout tile and paint. It was hard work but fun to spend time with my parents. Stephen ended up going the rest of the way with Steve, and scored some tickets to a Vancouver Canucks game!! It has been one of his childhood dreams to see the Canucks play at GM Place and he finally got to go! He was SO excited and I'm glad he got to go.

The weekend after that we ended up going to the spa in Moose Jaw again as an appreciation to all of our Jnr and Snr High leaders. It was great to be able to bless them, take them out to dinner and to relax in the spa! Stephen ended up going to Table Mountain to snow board for the first time, resulting in a HUGE bruise from a fall he took. Just glad he's alive:)

And now here we are at the end of February already! I can't believe how fast this year has already gone...lots more to come.
