God's Blessings
For some reason, God allowed me to be born into a country that is safe and gives me the right to worship my God. For some reason God has blessed me with material riches that others may never see in their life. I am beginning to realize that these gifts I did not earn, but were given to me as just that, a gift. I am reminded daily that I need to appreciate those things that I often take for granted and recognize that I am fortuante. I am undeserving, but God continues to bless me.
Lord, help me to use those things that you have given me as a gift to honor you. Help me to not appreciate them more than I appreciate you.
"Many, O Lord my God, are the wonders you have done. The things you planned for us no one can recount to you; were I to speak and tell of them, they would be too many to declare." Psalm 40:5

Happy Anniversary #1
Yesterday, August 20th was Stephen and my 1st Anniversary! We spent the day attending a wedding of our good friends Dave and Kathy Redekop. Unbeknownst to me, Stephen stole me away after the reception and took me to the Delta Bessborough downtown to one of their Signature Rooms with such a beautiful view! Champagne and roses awaited me...it was so amazing and made for a perfect first anniversary spent together. We took some great pictures, I'll post them soon!
Stephen-I'm so in love with you! You are such a wonderful man and have so many qualities that I admire. Thank you for being my best friend, it has been so much fun being married to you. Can't wait for the years to come and the adventures that God will take us on. I couldn't have picked a better person to spend my life with.
I love you!
Also-congratulations Kathy and Dave! Double anniversary date sometime??? haha

Summer Recap Part 3
Cassie got married in this cool barn and they strung lights everywhere! Once it got dark it looked incredibly beautiful! After the wedding, we went straight into the reception and following that had a Hoe Down, with lots of square dancing. We even had our own caller that taught us how!
